    You either have an airlock in the flow or return from boiler to cylinder (have you checked that these are rising to the cylinder with no dips), or the feed pipe between the header tank and the boiler is blocked. Assuming that you have water in the header tank.

    No it is definetly not supposed to be installed like that, Hope you have an expansion pipe. Install a small head tank and do the job right. :shock:

    You will probably find that the small head tank in the attic is empty due to a stuck ball valve. Failing this it could be that the coil is air locked which can usually be remedied by releasing the air with the manual air vent situated at the top of the flow pipe going into the cylinder

    Fit the swan neck so that is fitted to the left hand side of the expansion tee and fit the short piece of pipe, now fitted to the left of the tee, to the right of the tee altering the expansion pipe accordingly. This will solve your problem.
