    The"Aerjec" shown fitted under your boiler indicates that the boiler is fed by a header tank, therefore you need to trace the two pipes that are on the left and side of this fitting to locate the header tank, the bottom pipe is the feed from the tank and the top one the expansion pipe.

    Can I ask, if the main gas supply to the gas meter was plastic pipe there would be no continuity to earth via the meter so why is it necessary to bond the in house gas pipes within 600mm of the meter?
