    Cloak verge plastic pins..

Wondering if any one can help me source the plastic pins (black) that go in the side of cloak verge tiles to help secure them. Need about 40-50, Builders merchants (J-----s) not very helpful and tried to sell me 40 tiles just so I could get the pins. Thank you

    Sky +

Sky are not very good at passing information like this to existing customers. I too paid for a premium package to get the benefits of Sky+ for months, unaware it had been dropped.

    Sky +

I no longer pay the £10 fee and have no premium packages to enable the use of Sky+. I think you still have to pay the the premium if you have a Hi-def boxe.

    Setting out tiling batons..

Just wondering what the preferred method for spacing tiling batons is? Seen some builders using a chalk line, another suggestion was to use the bottom baton as your datum and keep measuring up from there, I was thinking of making a gauge stick to the correct length! Thanks

Cheers lads, it is coverboard and 10mm not 9  Its leftovers from another extension, price was right and it will cover the old wooden fascias. Just to go of on a tangent the extension is also getting UPVC fascia, visited 3 merchants today for quotes and every one suggested putting up...

    auto start gadget...

An update for anyone that's interested, Bought an intelli plug from Maplins, just as I thought the current draw from the transformer is enough to keep the peripheral socket live on initial plug in. But, after the first cut with the saw the peripheral socket does then go into its standby...

    Lead Flashing #2

Getting ready to put some flashing on the roof, couple of questions if you don't mind. I have an approx 200mm difference in roof levels (new roof lower than existing) therefore I will need to flash between new and old. New roof just sits approx 10mm above lower edge of the existing barge...

    auto start gadget...

Thanks for the ideas, think I'll try the remote control option have a spare one lying around somewhere. Like the idea of the inteliplugs Woody but the saw is 110v and unsure if the plug would ever go to its standby state as the transformer is always drawing a little current, which may just be...
