Hanging a radiator on a thermalite wall

Use more than two screws? (drill another couple of holes in the bracket) Also, slightly under size the hole, being careful not to snap the screw when tightening. You could also cut out the plasterboard where the bracket is located and fill the hole with bonding so you do not distort the...

    help

Trying to re-enact Madonna's "Body Of Evidence" :D I recently used a flannel in the method described to remove wax from my wifes trousers, which was more effective than brown paper. But before doing that, see if it will fit in the freezer, when the wax goes hard you can remove the...

Bad mood... Like you Adam, spent new year in Brizzel... Watching the fireworks... cram enough chemical energy into a small dense space ie: Blackthorn/b-in-law brain. Light blue touch paper and retire. Back on topic!

Which disc to use for cutting a channel with angle grinder ?

I've only done a little of this, but in my opinion it's only worth using a cutter if the place is a building site to start with and you have lots to do. But in the future, if you need to do it, a cheap diamond blade works effortlessly. Good luck.

    Using broadband arond the house

Sadly Doris No. Firstly, using a combined router/switch allows one or more pooters to connect to the internet indepedently of each other. This also means that the internet connection can be shared. This will allow you to share files with each other and share devices like printers...

    mould spots removal?

Hi Rio, a friend of mine had this problem when he refurbished his office. I think that some dry cleaning firms will clean blinds now, maybe worth an enquiry. The end result was excellent. May I also suggest, that you leave a window on a 'vent' setting to prevent this re-occuring...

    Lucky escape

Yes, but Adam, a civilian reporting a non-event like the one I encountered would be politely told there was nothing that could be done. On the other hand, if an officer... Unfortunately, the law seems to be biased towards the pratt in this country...

The audacity of it all! Obeying a speed limit indeed!

I'm guilty of sticking to the speed limit when it suits too Adam! :D BTW, I usually just pull over (when possible) to allow aggressive drivers past... Slightly off topic (sorry Adam), there is a stretch of duel carriageway (three lane) down these parts that splits off in two directions...

One word... ebay If someone can sell a 'nearly full' packet of cigarettes, I'm sure you could sell Yorkshire Fittings, a TV aerial and a ZIP drive! Maybe give the proceeds to the Asian disaster fund?
