    Right HD?

I also spoke with WD and they say that 1. The SATA II drive will be a straight swap 2. The SATA III drive will be a straight swap, but their is a caveat. The SATA III drive has jumpers which are normally factory set for desktops and workstations. However, if you have problems then set...

    Right HD?

Sorry, "Yes.."?, which did you mean, stick with SATA II or go for a SATA III drive. I was searching in Google and came across one post which said that to use a SATA III drive you have to replace the cable. Is that true or are the connectors and cables exactly the same?

    Right HD?

WD make two versions of the Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB hard drive, a SATAII (300) and a SATAIII (600). The current drive is a SATAII, not sure if my motherboard supports SATAIII (probably not), am I better off getting another SATAII drive, even though it is an older product?

    Right HD?

Sold! Can I use the Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB SATAIII 6Gb/s 16MB Cache 3.5 inch Internal Hard Drive. The reason I ask is because it says the interface can be SATA and PATA (?). Do I have to get the right one or does it automatically support both interface simultaneously.

I looked at a some reviews in Google and they seem to come out well. Have there been problems with the drives? I've previously used western digital but I thought these were better.

    Wickes Easy Seal

I used the Wickes Easy Seal Cap sheet on a flat roof (6x3m) a couple of years ago. The roof is fine but in a few place the cap sheet is looking worn. Is there a way to repair it? Also, can I put another layer of the cap sheet on top or does all old cap sheet need to come off first?

    Rust repair

Cheers! By the way I was having a look on the Hammerite site and they've got something called Direct to Rust metal paint. Its a 3 in 1 formula which they claim means you don't need a primer. Is it any good, or am I likely to get a better, longer lasting finish with the traditional method?

    Rust repair

Great. Would you mind detailing the steps I need to take as I've never done anything like this before. Also, "use Hammerite rust remover first before priming", is that the same as the Kurust stuff?

Yep IE! Well after all that, it went away by itself and everything is back online again - must be down to Santa. I assume the problem was with my ISP - TalkTalk. Strange, never had a problem with them before or heard of anything like this before. Does that mean all those people with...
