    baxi hot water

if its 1 yr old then you should be under warranty as long as your installer has registered the blr and filled in the commissioning details. As you have'nt gone down the road of contacting baxi I'm thinking dodgy install?! :|

    Disconnecting a Gas Cooker

just to help decipher the above. Bayonet connections are a fitting that is exempt from the gas safety regulations in that you do not need to be a registered engineer to disconnect the hose from the bayonet fitting-as long as that is what you have got! You may not however attempt to remove the...

    support of internal chimney stack

Hello all. looking at increasing builders opening. I am happy about fitting a lintel at the the front, but the width of the opening would mean removing some of the cheeks on the inside of the opening. My concern is with regard to how much support these give to the internal stack, or is this...

    Re-Pressurising a Baxi Duo Tec

do you have the tap type filling loop with the circular heads? Make sure you open the left hand valve fully, then the right as in the video. the non return valves can sometimes stick. a sharp bang with a spanner on the left hand valve can sometimes be enough just to free it. If your boilers...

had a really odd noise on occuring on the pcb on a solo being caused by what I think was a back voltage of a dodgy drayton or danfoss 3 way. caused a really odd boing noise on the board but only when the valve motor was moving over. btw turning stat down doesn't eliminate pump/circulation...

    trimming oak veneered doors

yes thanks all. I've eventually adjusted the doors up so that the gap between the top pf the doors and the frame head is only now 5mm. This has meant packing the wooden floor plate up by about 6-8mm but this still leaves a substantial gap between the bottom of the door and this. Moral of...

    trimming oak veneered doors

thanks LL and foxhole. The stanley trick worked wonders. Scored all the weay around and cut on both sides so no break out on the opposite side to cutting. Tried to finish with my hand plane but wood too hard, but the electric did the trick. Have to say though I'm not very chuffed with the...
