Hi Guy's thanks for your input so far...i am indeed trying to install a inline dimmer switch as the lamps are to bright , i noticed both terminals on the switch have a L2 and a swiggly line with a arrow through ( load ??) i manged to get a diagram of the switch... Thanks again

Hope some of you bright sparkies can help me out...?? What i am hoping to do is wire x 2 standing lights to 2 way dimmer from a stardard 3 pin plug, i got a 2 way dimmer from wickes ( via e-bay ) i have never seen this type of switch before ..it only has x 2 L2 on each switch ?? how do i wire...
