guys, looking for a pcb for a worcester 9.24 its the older pcb thats now obsolete with worcester part number 87161463240 PCB W9355B .. seen a couple but never bought from any of these places and prices vary, anyone uesed any of these ?? http://www.boilerpart.gbr.cc £54 from here...

yip, fan runs at slow speed on the swiftflow for the pilot, if its constantly runnin too fast its the pcb tho ! changed a few due to this !

i used to work on these boilers every week for over a year and a half, they eat pcb's, most common thing changed in these is the sequence pcb and faults with the flow senser which is not an obsolete part...

first time i attempted to fire just the c/h mate, pump started fan just stayed on slow speed for pilot, no futher sequence.. if you run the h/w it fires every time if c/h is on demand also it then stays on for the c/h never had this fault before but thinking the c/h demand must go through...

totally agree mate, others would try a different case seal but if it aint for the boiler it aint meant to be there. bg only this at the begining of the year and no doubt for a valid reason !!!

yes and bg are only allowed to use the exact case seals for the boiler, if the case seal shows as part not listed then the engineer is not allowed to put another case seal on and bg only use genuine parts thats where the problem lies... Its not the engineers fault its the regime he's working...

Guys, got a worcester 9.24 (47-311-07) with the old relay and 1 circuit board, not the one with 2 boards !! The problem im advised is intermitting, the boiler will not always fire on demand for central heating, but if the customer runs the hot water this activates the boiler and the c/h...

thats a thought mate, would prefer something with a fixing though but may have a look at trying this !

agreed as tony says but I personally prefer worcester or vaillant boilers. there are a few I wouldnt recommend like an ideal isar for starters but like tony says it isnt always the boiler thats the issue especially long term...

GUYS, Need some urgrnt help.. recently bought a triton barbell shower, comes with all fixings etc but it has the offset connections, the problem I have is if I connect this to my gyproc cavity wall using a 1/2 inch bsp connector I have barely enough thread coming through to connect shower...

its another isar they are getting, got offered a worcester if they paid an extra £200 but couldnt afford it and wanted same boiler against advise !

guys just to update you all on this ! Gas4u was bang on with the problem, but due to the customer constantly resetting the cumbustion panel was blown off with the explosive ignition and burnt right through to the back of the thing and cracked the back casing on the boiler, new boiler...

still a very reliable boiler, with exception to the fan issue they still top most boilers on the market.

will keep you updated on outcome mate once I speak to the engineer.. its hard to understand why the same manufacturers of the trusty classic got this heap of junk so wrong !!

its off mate !! and no lpg !! it wasnt my job, just went to help one of our younger engineers but original fault was LF and spent so long sorting this as it already had a stack of parts fitted, pcb, divertor, both electrodes , sensors !!!!!!!!!! never had the time to go into the guts off it...

yeah its the ratio.. with cover off it sits around 9.9% about 120 ppm slightly higher than normal with cover on ppm goes off the scale over 4000ppm is it possible for the insulation to fall off even if the burner or heat engine has not been disturbed recently ??

Folks, went to an ISAR HE24 today and after fitting the new pcb telganed it, the CO reading wnt skyhigh, removed the cover and reading went right down, still around the 0.0010 mark but well passable.. checked everything, all seals and visually the flue looked fine, Ideal suggested replacing but...

national price from bg is £144 not sure if this includes VAT or not tho !! anyone with an ISAR should be on some kind of contract, one of the worst boilers about just now !!
