Well no as we are fed via 11 kv overhead lines these kind of faults (brownouts) have been caused by bad connection on the joints as that's what a linesman told me when we had this problem. Andy

Check there is not another switch for that heater somewhere as this happened to me at my uncles house one of his heaters wasn't working and it turned out there was a switch at the original position before the heater was moved. Andy

My nephew had a similar one a few months ago spilt coffee and the laptop so i stripped it down and cleaned all M/B with isopropyl alcohol and after reassembly it works ok and still is. Andy
