If you have managed to bend it to the shape required,you should be able to fix it working from one end,it might pay to put several fine saw cuts in the back of the scotia where it is lifting ,to relieve the tension. Obiously these can only be as deep as the square edge on top and will show

It has got to be the makita aldo only 14v ,the batteries ,damn I might as well say it the whole kit will last longer than a ryobi ,plus it is smaller and lighter (this only my personal oppinion just in case ryobi employ hitmen)
