It might be that there is more layers of skin or the skin is thicker,causing the skin to absorb moisture more unevenly

A interesting reason I once heard why there is so many skinny,boy like models in the modelling industry is because there is such a high proportion of gay men( clothes designers ect) in the industry

It is what ever you want really,if it is purely for preventing dust and you are not to worried about what it looks like go for "brown" building paper ,and staple it to the underside of the rafters.It has to be easier getting a roll of that into the loft than sheet material and cheaper

Bit of a specialist job really not one that plasterers would come across,quite a big frieze if you want to patch in a SQUARE metre of it or do you mean a linear metre is it inside or outside ,obiousily you would need different materials depending which. By curved do you mean it is a arched...
