I've got a Sony Bravia and..................

The KDL32EX403 does not have a freesat tuner, but does have HD Freeview. Has 'digital switchover' happened in your area. When it does most transmitters will up their transmission power, that may help with your reception. One of your other problems could be your aerial band type. You may...

I've got a Sony Bravia and..................

Some Sony Bravia TV's will get Freesat, and some won't, depends on model number. Look on the back of your TV does it have an 'F' socket, with a thread, for a satelite input, or just the normal coax aerial input?

    LOGIK LCX27WN2, AC ADAPTER ADP-150BB B fault

Realise there is a challange in not getting beaten by a power supply. To me, this was well in the old days of transformers, rectifiers and capacitors, simple stuff - but switched mode leaves me standing. How about one of these for a tenner post paid, just bought on for running led...

    mixing cement

Agreed it is more costly than equivalent sand and cement, but as this is OP first post I considered he was a new DIYer, and having used it myself this year, it was so easy. Absolutely no mess and cement stains. Brush it in, use a round finishing tool to press down, sweep off and leave to...

    mixing cement

Nope, geofix works on gaps 5 to 20mm wide. Infact it is hard to get it brushed in on gaps below 5mm.

Have a look at geofix, much easier to use and does not 'stain' the surface.

ChrisR has given the direction to go. in his post above. I also fell into this trap, 'they sell the kit, so it must work'. I replaced the supplied kit of self tapping tap and washing machine hose, with copper tee and pipe. Now have full pressure feed to the garden sprinkler. EDIT: Note...

    SKY Planner

It is easy enough to change the Sky+ box with the SkyHD box when you want to. Just remember you will have to phone Sky when you change them so that they can pair your card to the new box. They will talk you through this no problem. One thing to be care ful of though, SWMBO can record new...

Knock through all or part of kitchen / living room wall?

To me knocking down between kitchen and dining room is OK, you expect the smell of cooking in a dining room. However, I believe cooking smells in a living room is completely wrong and I do not understand why people do it.

tv interferance with sky when aerial plugged in

Unless you have changed it the Sky box transmits RF on Ch68, I would suggest that your new aerial is picking up a stray signal on this frequency, or close, that is giving the interference. Try changing the Sky box RF out frequency to another channel. This will require a reune of your TV's.

    Ferrous Sulphate to kill moss

I use 3 to 3.5 grams/sq m to kill moss. I half fill a watering can with warm water, and disolve 30 to 35 grams in it giving it a good stir. I then fully fill the can with cold water. Measure out 10 sq m on your lawn, I use canes to show the edges, and water this area. Repeat until the...

Do it the cheap way first, use a splitter, if you have a reasonably strong signal it will work. If it doesn't give an adequate signal, then fit a powered multiway amplifier.
