Gorenje tend to be sold through independent local shops. If your missus is going on the fact the last Hotpoint gave such good service then unfortunately since then Hotpoint is now owned by the same company that bought Indesit and ruined that name so you need to convince her otherwise trust me.

I used to do the servicing for gorenje and found them to be very good far better then hotpoint/indesit rubbish

Depends on the model but the dryer element may of become damp which also stops the wash side working fault code ED4 . try disconnecting dryer element and wash side may work

I had a customer tell me the other day that a well known large housing association (UK wide) has been forced to keep a large percentage of their housing stock empty and they can only be made available to migrants which if true is disgraceful. Anyone else heard of this?
