    Has to be vented outside for sure . Venting inside would also mean having to replace the carbon filters on a regular basis as these need to be fitted when you vent to the inside but they arn't needed if you vent to the outside .

    Could be one of the coils on the inlet valve is open circuit this can cause what your saying (It brings in a small trickle of water during the drying process)
