    it is simple to replace undo the screws on the inside of the door , the front panel should fall out so be ready to catch it. the soap draw will become visible. make a note of the wiring. to release the dispenser , some have six screws and 2 fixing brackets, some just require the metal flanges...

    take lid off take sides off check the water chamber for black gunge or the pipes for gunge is a common fault on these that the gunge confuses the machines sensors to think its got water in.

    food at 1 -2 degrees is not good for all types of food 4 is the best universal temperature but thats up to you the temperature will vary around the fridge, thats normal it will always vary in any heating medium oven , fridge , pot of boiling water etc etc

    if you have a domestic fridge which runs at 4-6'c on a permanent basis take that. that is a good working fridge . food will last well at that temp.

    boil the kettle 1st then tip the water flow chamber so as the gunge is low pour in a bit of bleach to run down leave for 10 mins pour on boiling water and jig about it will go patience required don't forget to check the pipes that feed off this chamber too ,
