Thanks for reply, Yes it was a qualified sparky and I have a certificate, Yes it should be no problem fitting it but I thought I would make sure as it was on a notified job and yes ring is RCD protected as bungalow is only 2 years old. Thanks Kev

Hi Can anyone advise I have had a outdoor socket fitted by an Electrician, this has been done via a direct spur from my garage which is on the main protected ring the only problem is the socket is always live, could I fit a dp switch or a fcu so I can turn off the power if we were going away...
