    connect wired ip camera wirelessly?

Wireless LAN to LAN bridge? Lot of even the cheapest routers will operate in bridging mode. Or a set of powerline sockets, IP over mains. Both can be picked up for under £30 with a bit of shopping around.

    Euro Meridian code

Nothing wrong with the make of the filter, its the fact its been hacked up and bodged to do a job. If they've hacked up something to save 2 quid who's to say what else theyve done to cut corners or save a little cash. Not sure if you can tell but it's an inline filter meant for plugging into...

    Euro Meridian code

Actually looking at the pictures the **** poor hacked up cheap adsl filter doesnt inspire me with greatest confidence either, also means it was more than likely on comms for police response and will need those options turning off if thats no longer required. What im trying to say is, do it...

    Euro Meridian code

Shop around maybe? In 16 years ive never come across a panel that has the engineer code locked so don't worry about the scare stories too much, YES im sure it does happen though. Ask your neighbours/friends who have alarms, who services there's and if they are happy with that company...

    Texecom Premier 48 resistor values

Texecom THEMSELVES supply (or did) 16 x 3k3 resistors for use with their premier panels which can be directly exchanged in place of the 2k2 and 4k7. I've no idea what this is sorry bernard, but these are completely nothing to do with the Texecom panel the op mentioned. In truth and from my...

Couple of questions Texecom premier elite 24

Shoot me down if I'm wrong but I think it defaults to 'Locked by timer ......... C' on new Elite 24's just as its bigger brothers do, and can be removed by pressing 'NO' then Zero, or just Zero on that screen. You can correct me for that bit pcaoulte.

    Fault with Visonic Powermax alarm

Checked you got the right zone? Just because it says Lounge, doesnt mean that detector is actually installed in the Lounge.

    Texecom Upgrade to Premier/Ricochet

I'd suspect your first panel was the New Premier Elite range and the 2nd panel is the older Premier range. New Elite comes with 4 zones, older doesnt.

    Texecom Upgrade to Premier/Ricochet

Sure it's not something silly like you have chime on a pir in bedroom etc? Maybe one your walking around once its part armed and it stops when you all settle down in bed? Edit: Checked your log for fault events ? Low batt etc.

    Wireless PIR's back to back

Always been told to seperate wireless devices by at least 30cm, not sure why though. Could be just 'best practice' or for a reason.

Exodus OH4W Smoke detectors & EOL

If I remember right the detectors shut themselves down if they can't talk to the panel (i.e its powered down for a while) and can take a couple of hours to come back online once the panel is powered back up. Least that was correct for the original ricochet stuff, not sure about the new stuff.

Texecom Premier to work with remote garage door?

Sparky knows his stuff, premier's can do 2 different entry times so have entry time 1 at say 20 seconds for when you come through the front door, and entry time 2 at perhaps 40 seconds for when you open the garage door.

CCTV Cameras Interference when cameras powered by same PSU

Get yourself a test monitor, battery powered and a neccessary tool for anyone that regularly does cctv. I'd double check your connections too, a missing negative on either power or negative side of balun wiring would cause problems similar to yours. Try unplugging each camera...

CCTV Cameras Interference when cameras powered by same PSU

Do you have a battery powered test monitor and are the pistures all present and correct when viewing them one at a time through it? (using the 5a psu)

    Texecom Premier 24

I 'think' the comip works with new Premier Elites, but the comip isn't compatible with the original Premier 24 panels. Also I had in my mind again on older panels you couldn't bring up virtual keypad on wintex when connected with a comip (forgive me if thats wrong, its been a while). Havn't...

How are you doing your tests? The above reading seem correct for normal mode but how are you making the bell 'ring' so to speak.
