Hello I’ve replced bypass valve with a new ABV. Set at default 0.2 bar Vastly improved the circulation problem. However I’m not sure how to calculate the best setting for the valve to assist the system. Can anyone help with this please? Thanks

Hi Terry By open vented do you mean header tank in attic with cold water feed to system, and and a 22mm pipe I refer to as an expansion pipe over the top of the tank , then yes it is. Haven’t tried a magnet anywhere, what would I be checking for? Thanks

Hugh All 3 removed are at the end of system. I have left wide open and closed a few close to boiler. This does allow the 3 rads to obtain some heat but not enough. Checked operation of TRV all ok Cheers

Hi Hugh Thanks for response Only work that has been done other than pump was to remove/replace 2 rads for decorating (these are furthest from boiler) and a Hall rad changed for new item. I agree with comment re combi. Doesn’t suit everyone. Cheers
