Megaflo and low water pressure. HELP!

simond wrote Do you have any idea who invented the accumulator ?. I have neighbours who have them installed to boost supplies. One guy (a long distant lorry driver) purchased his in Germany and fitted it himself. A grundfos model , and for about half the cost of UK suppliers...

    Low Loss Header

Simond Wrote I guess I could botch you one up. I have done some metal fabricating before. It looks easy looking at Doitalls photograph. Just weld stop ends on a big pipe and a few stubs. Why would you want to purchase such a device from Viessmann anyway. Sounds expensive. But...

Megaflo and low water pressure. HELP!

Simond You obviously have a non-impartial view with regard to the accumulators as you install them and recieve payment for their fitment. However pushing them like a salesman on an open forum is usually not well recieved by others who understand what can and cannot...

    Power shower pressure

Philthefrog wrote Someone may have mentioned it but these pipes sound much too small. Do the manufacturer recommend 15mm. I doubt it. :( Any pump I have ever seen has a much larger pipe on the inlet compared to the outlet. Have you calculated the NPSH required for...

Megaflo and low water pressure. HELP!

To cut a long story short geez, simond recomended an accumulator which is a very expensive option and the OP after much deliberation opted to have his mains pipe increased in size and it solved his problem. :P

here's a good one for you!!!!!

Chris hutt. Sorry about that previous post. I had confused upstream with downstream and didnt look at your diagram. I imagined upstream to be on the outlet side of the pump. :(

here's a good one for you!!!!!

Chrishutt said I am in agreement with Doitall. He certainly seems to know what he is talking about. Moving the expansion vessel upstream of the pump will not cause the pump inlet pressure to increase. Can you explain how this will be the case ?. You are simply giving the pump an...
