    Thanks sparky, have seen them cheaper on ebay. I purchase quite often online, including screwfix, amazon etc, Ebay is something i have never used and dont intend to use, the thought of handing money over to strangers based on trust does not appeal to me, but cheers for reply..

I know triton do an electric power shower, same radial circuit parameters but cold water feed is taken from the tank feed instead, put one in a few weeks back its a nice model.     Yes andy i know how they work, i think i never explained better what my point is, but inadvertantly you might have answered it. What you are saying is, the earth leakage fault actually gets picked up by the rcd. Even though we all wire this up to the actual main incoming earth what im saying...

    If you had an old crappy rewirable fuseboard hanging off the wall, all you would need to do to fool the surveyer is get a blank CU cover and box, place it over the old board with glue on circuit breakers and hey presto, the electrics get a clean bill of health... Not to sure about the stick...

    Tex, all i want to do is change a bath, in order to do that i will need to turn cold off from mains and let the hot water run down. Now i dont know this but somebody said when i turn cold mains back on and combi fills up, you have to "quote" "pump the boiler back up" is this true?
