We have a 'W' plan heating system (hot water priority), and I was wondering if the cylinder thermostat setting has any effect on the radiator temps. At the moment, the hot water is very hot indeed, practically scalding. But the radiators very rarely get what I'd call 'hot', just very warm...

Hi guys, I have a Honeywell wiring centre No. 42005748-001 and the terminal for connecting the mid-pos valve has 6 connections......grn/yel ,brown , grey, blue, orange and white. The problem is my valve has only 5 wires, all the above minus the brown. Do I just ignore the brown...

Right, to answer your question Alfredo, the system did work ok up until last winter, I say 'ok' because I have an update on the situation. The pump began to make intermittant screeching noises, then went quiet for a while. Next day, went to local heating shop and chatted...
