    You should find the Hosts file in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc Open it in Notepad and post back the results, you should have this entry: 127.0.0.1 localhost

    So what is different between the setup of your PC? Could be being blocked by third party software (antivirus, firewall) Also ensure that all your IE security setting are set to default. Try Firefox and see if you get the same output. :wink:

    You may need to toggle the display output in order for your external monitor to pickup the signal. It is usually something like Function (fn) + F5 key combination. Look for the screen symbol on the function keys.

    Not sure if this will help, but an IF statement may do the trick. =IF(A1>=F1,C1,"") where A1 is the value you are looking up, F1 is your lowest value, C1 is value if true.

    My apologies I was refering to an old adsl modem router for the settings. 192.168.1.1 seems to be the norm for Dlink now. :oops:

    Just to tie this one up. I found the problem, it was this. One of the raised bits was damaged and thus one of the contacts was not being disconnected which resulted in a damaged contact. Hunting for a replacement now.
