Joe Have you just got system protection turned on for the C: drive? Or have you got them both selected? I can't understand why it would use the recovery partition to save restore files unless you have system protection turned on for this drive.

You might as well get MS works suite 2002 or 2000 as it comes with WORD as well as Money, Autoroute etc.. Your problem is trying to find a seller as it is quite an old version now. :D

What have you got stored in the Recovery Drive that is taking so much space? Vista should delete old restore points when a new one is created.

What version of Nero do you have as I can only burn a VCD from an avi file using nero. I also tried this free software but the conversion takes hours 'n hours. Worth a try though.
