I agree with you europlex I never get rid of anything until it breaks down completely and gets beyond repair. I bit old fashioned myself I prefer the older technology over today's modern rubbish. the scantronic 9600 will last a life time same with the old ideal classic boiler if looked after...

I have looked after it and has worked great all these years and still works perfectly to this day. I have no intention to...

    2 bellboxes

no, I can remember there being a few links on the pcb immsmc the batt link and the rtn-. apart from the prima 500. I do not think the 200 or 300 did activate. some of the prima's that I removed when switching off the panel did nothing, however they did work on the panel bell test .

    2 bellboxes

tbh the last time I used a prima 200 I do not remember seeing any connections for a backup battery. unless its battery was soldered internally on the unit. I do not think it would self activate. same with the 300.

You would be better off buying a 12v alarm relay rather than a diode. you can get one from cts direct. use that for the tamper. you will probably be fine without it. but if you want it take the 12v on the panel to the + input on the relay then the tr wire from the second unit to the - input on...

    which bell box

same thing with my oddyssey the volume was intense from the around the up to around 100m or so. any further you could barely hear it? its a strange one. have not expieriemented the sound travel distance with the flashguard xl i will leave that for now. had fun setting it connecting up the...

    which bell box

    which bell box

hi there, if you want a very loud sounder I would go for the flashguard xl or the cqr bellbox just google them. I was going to include the texecom bellboxes but they seem to have a bad rep for their piezo's failing. I have replaced mine with flashguards for that very reason. go for a flashguard xl.

    scantronic 9076 relay board

few more questions 1: is the panel already powering the relays?. 2: depending on the type of alarm ( intruder activation) , does the panel switch that relay during alarm?. 3: do i need to do any linking? ( connect the 0v to the commons on each relay). I am using negative applied...

sorry mate, that diagram means nothing to me. you will need to be blunt I'm afraid. which wire goes where? the power and tamper are fine its just the triggers.
