Have checked with a pressure gauge. Good news is I get 2 bar on the ground floor and 1.8 - 1.5 on the top floor where my current electric shower is. With another tap on it drops to 1 bar. Should be fine for electric shower operation I think.

Any recommended models? Are they particularly noisy in general?

We did have a small leak a few years ago but resolved it.
