Hapless diy and b and q.

Well i went into my local B & Q at the weekend and I was confronted by a young boy handing out leaflets with a Solar panel and a windturbine. Now i find that quite scary. These are very specialized products and if incorrectly installed can be very dangerous. Fair enough they will not sell you a...

    Solar Panel - anti freeze

This is one of the reason why they designed the vacuum tube collectors as they have more tolerance with the angle and trajectory.

    Problems with Baxi Baharma 100

Are you not getting mixed up with the Baxi Genesis with the gas valve sticking. This one doesn't have 3 solenoids. It looks like the pump or blockage then by the sounds of it.

ok if i get called back to it i shall remove the flow switch for peace of mind. All i have done regarding the primary flow swtich is test the continuity and when the pump runs the switch makes. So the switch looks to be working fine. according to the Sequence of operation in the manual if the...

    Ecotec F.75.

sounds like it might just be bleeding the air out of the CH system. That fault means no pressure rise when the pump was activated. So probably just air in the system.

Is this too expensive for a new boiler installation?

it is about right that price to be honest. just make sure he chemically flushes the system at least otherwise when your Baxi breaks down Mr Baxi will walk of the job if it hasn't been cleaned properly and will refuse to warrant it.

i went to repair one yesterday and today. i have currently replaced the DHW flow switch as it was definitely faulty and now it is working fine in that area. "A" rated boiler V "B" rated boiler .

it is a very old tale that condensing boilers don't last as long as standard boilers. This is total nonsese. Maybe comparing the first condensing boilers to the old conventional cast iron boiler maybe as they used to last 20 years plus. But nowadays you are looking at approx 10 years+ out of a...

Choice of boiler - Alpha any good?

I'd have to disagree on the electronics side. Vaillant make there own PCB's and are very realiable. As Worcester buy theres in from the likes of Honeywell etc like most other manufactures and are only as realiable as other manufactures on PCB'S.

Choice of boiler - Alpha any good?

Alpha boiler are a good reliable boiler compared to lots on the market. They are not the cheapest or the dearest. The CD32C usually come with a 3 year warranty and it can be extended at the point of purchase to a 5 year for an extra cost of course. 1 thing with Alpha boilers they have a really...
