Just my opinion thats all. I have seen better solar systems on the market thats all i am saying. Good effort by alpha but most of these manufactures who have just jumped on the band wagon have very little experience in comparision to the likes of other manufactures which have been in the game...

worth checking the differencial valve opens. Black plastic valve facing you when you take front cover off. Also make sure there is no air in the system as they will not light up until it is fully purged.

the ouside stat is a plain white box which is water proof. You whould of got one with it.

The vitoronic 200 fits inside the boiler and the Vitotrol 300 is the remote programable room stat that you might fir in your kitchen or hallway, lounge etc. The vitotrol 300 is connected back to the boiler via the KM bus lead. Good piece of kit you have there pal. :wink:

The staff are trained! Probably more trained than other companies. I mean most other manufactures copy technology from the likes of Viessmann. But you might ring up about a solar heating problem and talk to a man who is clued up on heat pumps. So they all have there areas. I mean i went on...

what make and model of boiler is it.

Well if it is a gas boiler it needs to be registered with CORGI by the installer who fit it. Then you recieve a certificate throught the post from CORGI. Then the log book needs signing off by the registered installer as well. Or if its a DIY job then good Luck

to be honest there are far better boilers on the market for that kind of money. Off the top of my head the Broag Remeha Avanta plus 28C (28Kw) can be picked up cheaper than £845. They also do 35Kw and a 38Kw version too for extra cash of course. Ravenheat are ok but they are not the most...

Viessmann Vitodens 200 is the best Combi i have come across yet although for value and size flow rate etc i would reccomment either the Vaillant mentioned earlier above or a Broag remeha Avanta Plus 39C. This will give you 17litres a min providing you have decent water main. :wink:
