I've bought Ronseal Diamond hard garage floor paint. Apart from heavy cleaning, what prep does the floor need to get a good finish? I've seen "Sealocrete Concrete Dressing" at SElco which looks like it would be suitable. Anyone got any experience with such a product?

Lovely condition, newish window. I've got the cill but it's also got a strip of plastic beading at the top. The brickwork is being built to fit the window size. Do I need the stick on beading at the top for any purpose or can I remove it?

I've always used polyurethane - it gives a better finish than Danish Oil. You've picked the right stuff. Danish oil is messy and will attract dirt and needs to be redone regularly. I think it's a waste of time
