Thanks! I thought it was the door not fully shut initially. I have the cover off and there is a connector block going to the white door latch which i assume is what you mean. Plugged in and out a few times but no go. How much is a PCB if I need one? This machine is nearly 10 yrs old

I have pressed start and when i close door it normally starts. Have tried pushing door to ensure it clicks. Is this something simple like a door switch or sensor or do i need a new dishwasher? Have read all other whirlpool commentary would appreciate comment from sleepyhead -Thanks
