    Need some help choosing trees

Think I'd choose those three, as well. Your copper cherry choice was a really good one in the first place! Window to window - when a neighbour's window looks directly into one of your windows and it's annoyingly intrusive, especially with lights on eg dusk in winter. By then, all leaves...

Fruit trees, good idea but I don't know anything about them. Hopefully somebody will help.

    Need some help choosing trees

Have done lots of thinking. Not an easy problem to solve in view of height of rear properties and proximity of neighbours left and right. Trying to find a solution for privacy while considering neighbours can be impossible. My conclusions would be to look up the following and see what you...

Good to see forestboy joining in with new ideas. Have now posted pics to arbour album. Any guidance on what garden will be used for in order to establish what can go where? Sitting, children - no/age, guests, parties, skulking about, relaxing, dog, ornamental/practical?

Maybe non-invasive bamboo may have a place somewhere in the plan.

Hmmm. Pics really helpful. This is going to need some thinking about. I know exactly where you are coming from. Spent 20 years establishing privacy then last year someone lobbed up a grossly intrusive loft extension and all that work was lost in a morning! Hence the panic gunnii purchase...

Welcome to tree addicts anonymous. Think you may be on to a winner here: multi-stemmed small tree, seldom exceeds 20ft. This could be the one for you, well spotted. Would probably be quite slow growing. I've no experience of it, but sounds a very useful addition to the databank. Nearly...
