Hi Have thought about a water softener but unfortunately there is not a great deal of space in the cupboard under the sink so thought the combii mate was another option that might help. Would a softener be much more money?. Mike.

Hi We are in Dereham Norfolk and there should be no problems with pipe work etc as BG man was here for 3 hours yesterday sorting the heat exchanger etc . It was him who suggested the combination but don't want to have it fitted if its not going to help. Mike.

Hi Just put a load of washing in the above a nothing seems to be happening all you can hear is a faint clicking sound and the drum does not move. Now the question is is it an easy fix as the machine is about 5-6 years old or should we buy a new one. Any help advice would be great. thanks Mike

Hi Thanks for the replys i cleaned the small holes out with a twist drill and we now have hot water but i don't know if its worth getting a new fitting as i don't seem to get any water out of the small bleed screw on top of the cartridge so i was wondering if the water was just going striaght...
