You wil probably find your drains are clay. Digging and laying the plastic pipes may not be too much of problem, but i would recommend you get a pro in to connect you up, the last thing you want is a broken clay drain when you attempt to cut it.

What i do is gentle grind or breakaway the cement back to floor level then fit a multiquick connector, this gives a far better look and seal to the job.

Replace the syphon valve if you know how to do this, if not replace the whole syphon they are only about 10 quid.

Best thing to do is take the actuator head off and take it to a plumbers merchants and ask them to match this up for you. I had a simlar problem last week and even the merchants were stumped on a suitable replacement.

Your thread doesn't make alot of sense reading it. If you are talking about the waste pipe which carries the water away from the appliances, just buy a straight conector and join the two pipes together.

Or you can use a tap conversion kit (alot easier for a novice) where by you only change the body of the tap.

Just tee off the hot and cold supply for the water supply and push fit is fine on the waste.
