    The problem is your plumber may charge you again unless it's his work at fault. Sometimes valves don't always operate correctly when you go to switch them back on, but this is not your plumbers fault.

    Choice of monitor

    I have just bought a 17" lcd tv with a vga input on the back to connect my pc into it. Spot on, it's hung on the wall with ntl connected to it, so when theres nowt on the box i just flip av mode and surf the net. Perfick.

    Fax Problems On A ADSL Phone Line..

    Dial the machines telephone number from your mobile phone and check that the fax machine is giving out it's fax tones, you may have the machine on a mode where it cannot receive faxes (like telephone only mode). If it's not giving out fax tones, check the mode it's in.

    How do you think i feel. Recently had to get a 40mm waste pipe through a 3 feet thick wall, 10 feet off the ground on a ladder and only an sds drill with a 4ft long, 22mm thick drill bit to do it with (out of the school budget to hire the correct tool at £60 for the day). Two hours later...

    Easy, loosen off the nut, wet your fingers and rub a piece of boss green into a ball and then press into the threads and then re-tighten, whats so hard about that? ... and it's never failed on me yet.

    Went out to a customers house last week and noticed in their airing cupboard that the customer had shoved polystyrene and then rockwool under the shower pump, suppose they were fed up with the noise too.
