you mean causing the black vale to leak ? any ideas what it could be ? I had someone round and he said it was the black valve leaking not balancing the pressure successfully, said he would come back once he has the cost of the part etc and let me know. He said it may even be worth replacing...

any ideas what I will be looking at cost wise ?

Turns out the leak is coming from the black valve (connected to discharge pipe ) on the left when pressure is too much, any ideas on cost of supply and replace ? Is it just called a pressure relief valve ? there is another one on the other side fixed at 3.5 bar. Should I replace both ?

Thanks Bernard will give that a try, if it is the tundish is it safe to assume there is no issue ? or should i be doing anything further ?

is there anything that would make the water come and go (dry up) like this ?

Back again this morning.

more pics added, water seems to have dried up almost completely. Is this possible, if it is a leak it should continue right ? tun dish is at the front. Pipe above the leak area just seems to exit external wall. What do you think of install and what could be the issue ?

Do you still see a problem with the installation as well ? should i look to get it corrected ? any ideas what needs to be looked at ? Many Thanks

Pic from this morning. Water from under cylinder seems to have dried but remained around the wood on the floor. Also seems to be in line to and underneath the pipe that goes into the back external wall, is this the discharge pipe ? When I feel it though it just feels cold and dry. So does...

Just ran my hand under the cylinder base where I can slip my hand, and just dry plastic base. Checked all copper pipes and all feel dry, some warm some hot. Be gutting of down to incorrect install and out of warranty.

Boiler is new 2.5 years old replaced when cylinder was put in. Some days it is hot and some days it is just warm.

The point is this an external wall insulation system which should ensure water seal. If they just render the hole would this not reduce the u value in this area as there would be less insulation. Also the under metallic stop bead which has a hole in it ? I don't know which is why I am asking...
