It seems to be sadly. Im in a stone cottage with earth render and some earth bricks and was recomended by a few people to do a DPC or undercut the house. A mate who is a builder mostly of modern passive type well insulated houses was also going to do a full modernised number on the place, going...

    Saurez biting..

I like Woolton. Its an upmarket lovely neck of the woods. I used to drink there a bit and had a mate from there years ago. Best part about it is even though the people there are worth a few quid they arent as obnoxious as people Ive came across in Knutsford and Richmond.

    Saurez biting..

Met him about a year ago at Liverpool's training ground as a mate knows Skrtel. I like him. From what Ive heard about him hes a committed family man who lives a quiet life outside football. When he gets on the pitch though he is like a street fighter. Hes done wrong and should be punished...

    Old house refurb- creepy

Whilst reading about old houses in general although Im focused on parts about granite stone and earth bricks, sandstone comes up in the same topics and the same advice applies. Lime seems to be the best way on these houses for mortar and rendering and limewash with natural pigments for...

Its just a marketing spiel bodge. Buy British, British is best. Yeah okay, Parma ham and cheese and Argentine/Uruguayan beef. Im not a fan of their agitation for GM foods, chemicals, pesticides and killing off bees. Its just business to most of them apart from the small bio farms, all about...

Coal is back in fashion these days. Germans are switching back to coal now after getting scared of nuclear power after Fukushima. Bit of long termism from Thatcher and the UK could of been supplying the new generation of coal fired plants the krauts are building. Instead the krauts will be...
