It turns out that the correct part number is 417135, and I managed to locate a re-conditioned fan unit. I've now done the job and I'm very happy to say the boiler is now working well and is quieter than it's ever been !

The fan on my Glow-worm Fuelsaver 45F boiler is getting a bit noisy and I was thinking of replacing it. The number on the fan is 403077 and although it is a glow-worm type of number, I haven't managed to trace it on the net. For the 45F there are fan numbers like 417135. Does anyone know...

Rather than thinking of 10kW to heat the water to heat the radiators, why not have a few spare fan heaters to use in different parts of the house when necessary?
