I finally got round to finding my spare and I'm getting the same readings, so sounds like a good result! Can't remember for sure, but can you calibrate the outside temp sensor using the VRC430 if it is slightly out?

The divertor moves straight away when the tap is opened as I remember, but the VR61 seemed to be waiting for the zone valves to close before it fired the boiler. Luckily, as I said, the floor heating seems to work fine coming on at the same time as the rads, so I'm happy with the setup.
