hi which model boiler ? do the rads get warm/hot when you run the hot tap? check the 1 nearest to the boiler. didnt your guy check the flow switches ???

just put mine in the airing cupboard (glow-worm cx30) all the pipework is in there ready to connect onto, flued straight up into the loft and out of the roof,existing plastic overflow to pick up the condensate and blow-off.the only major pipework in this case would be getting the gas to it.

would have thought if there is enough flow to fire the boiler then somthing should be gushing somwhere???

hi mick thanks for your input,i thought the same,however i did try and simulate the stats going off by manually turning them down, the result of this was that the zone valves shut but the pump stays on constantly,this only accurs when dhw and ch are on together, when on sep the pump overrun...

thanks for replies everyone, simon as in origonal post pump and boiler are working fine and so is the pump over-run now after shutdown, but the thing is it will only over-run when the ch is on only,or when the dhw is on only, it wont over-run when i put both on together this is what i cant...

thats called a "box spanner" or" backnut spanner" dont cost a fortune and anywhere that sells tools should have them in stock
