Bolo, you are correct of course, but, my SIM has come from a phone that is just a little bit to old to have the cut out version in your pic. I'm going to ask my provider Virgin for another SIM, failing that I will order a SIM cutter and cut it down to size.

Cheers John, my own research and talking to Nissan tech's show the early K12 2002/2003 had a crap batch of chains which were made of chocolate!! The chain stretches to such an extent that the tensioner piston which is usual out @ 8-10mm is showing 20mm!! Your post confirms what I have read, ie...

It has come to light that early K12 Micra's, ie; 2002/2003 had very weak timing chains that stretched, even at low milage, my Wife has a 2003 Micra with only 25k on the clock, but, it turns out that the chain has stretched! Has anyone any experience of changing the timing chain on one of these?

Yup, had the same problem with my last car, would cut out when warm, allowed to cool and it would start again, fitted a new CPS and all was well.

Its for my Wife fella, not me, BTW, I drive a HUMMER. :wink:

Thanks to John and avocet, the one we had in the rear door actually opened fully. Will now have a look around, the Nissan actually looks a bit smaller in overall size. Road tax is no fun though for either.
