    Turns out I was not to blame afetr all...All the pressure issues seem to have stemed from a faulty plate heat exchanger (subject of another post). The Faulty plate hex (this device heats up the DHW) had pin holes in it allowing mains water to enter the CH system, this in turn blew the rubber...

    Ok..the new plate HEX arrived this morning and I've just fitted it. I went to the local plumb base to get the seals...£15 for 4. Not a hard job to do so long as you drain everything and turn off the water first. An issue I have is that I could not change the seals..you can't actually see...

    Thanks for your patience... can I take it that you mean that the exchanger which needs changing is the "plate Heat exchanger" and NOT the "Primary heat exchanger".. The installation manual does not list a number for the plate heat exchanger.. Where is the best place to purchase...

    hi, I had to take the front cover off to get to the GC number its, as you say, 4707508. the install manual qoutes the hex as 248030.. sorry for any confusion caused.. Al

    Can some one give me the possible reasons for the pressure within the expansion Vessel on my Baxi 105e rising please. I've checked the input tap to make sure it was not slowly leaking..all ok. It takes a few days for the pressure to rise to over 3 bars, I then have to release the pressure...

    A new charger may make a difference but it sounds like the connector in the PC may be loose. The contacts for the battery may also need cleaning as if it runs the computer it should be charging the battery.... may even require a new battery.

    that looks ok for outgoing server: incoming should be pop.tools.sky.com in further settings you should set incoming server to 995 and outgoing to 25 and a tick in the box for 'my server needs verification' have you set up on sky email as well..?
