Can't find drain off valve except above boiler.

Your drain off might be outside or if you have a garage then check there.

    Bernzomatic load of absolute rubbish!

Don't like them, my mate has one and I used it once. Couldn't get on with it.

    Bernzomatic load of absolute rubbish!

Might have to try the Monument, it looks good but is rather notey at £70+ and it only takes gasex or whatever it is, but I think I've seen adapters that make standard bottles fit.

    Ideal isar HE30 noise problems

Call in a RGI to check it over. Ask friends and family to recommend someone etc. Did you check the condensate pipe and main waste pipe for blockages btw? If its not that its more than likely something gas related which requires you to get an RGI to check it over.

    Bernzomatic load of absolute rubbish!

I've got TS7000 as a spare for when my Superfire decides to die. I can't even find any more TS7000's about. Think I'll e-mail Bernzomatic and see what they come up with.

    Bernzomatic load of absolute rubbish!

Where can you get the TS8000? I have looked all over and only seem to be able to find it on Ebay and all American sellers.

    Ideal isar HE30 noise problems

Does your condensate discharge into a waste pipe? If so check that its not blocked. As cleaning the trap will only shortly solve the problem if the main waste pipe is blocked up. If not then it could most likely be gas related and you will need an RGI to check it over.

Removing a gas safety seal ?

Some times though if National Grid are busy then they might ask the rgi to remove the lead seal and adjust the regulator themselves.

    cold water tank overflowing

Did you isolate the main cws feeding the F&E? If the level drops then I'd agree with seco and say you have a leaky coil. Oh and up the Arsenal! :D

    disappointing mira shower

8.5kw electric showers aren't great. Ideally you want a 9.5 or 10.5kw providing you have the right sized cable.

    Mould on wall in bathroom

Agree with John that you need an extract fan. You could clean off the mould with a mould removing product, I think Dettol make a spray. Then cover with a bathroom paint that has mould guard added which should help.

    bahco tools

I've got a few pairs of Bahco adjustable spanners, which are quality! Don't buy their grips (pump pliers) though, they are a pain in the backside. Knipex make nice grips. And as for Rothenberger, they can take a running jump with their tools! I've seen a set of their grips snap in half...

What style taps do you have? If they aren't the quarter turn style then they could be the problem.

    Broag Boilers

The commercial range need strict servicing every year, from my experiance with them. The company I served my apprenticeship with only installed Broag's and if they ever delveloped a fault then either a Broag engineer was called out or a Broag specialist. I can't remember the firm that was used...

    Mixer or electric shower?

May I ask how much you spent on the 8.5kw? The reason I ask is that on the Gainsborough website they have a 10.5kw model on offer for £99, probably cheaper than the 8.5kw you purchased.
