    Yet another condensate freezing problem...

Screwfix or Toolstation would probably be best and cheapest for you. You could also buy the overflow pipe and fittings needed whilst there too

    Galvanised water tank

Normally if the loft hatch is a bit small I link 2 small tanks, or fit a coffin tank if possible. Cutting up galv tanks isn't a nice job, best left up in the loft. I can remember being given the job and handed the grinder  Didn't think round tanks were still available Dan?

    2 gas fires to remove

You need a Gas Safe engineer to remove the unwanted gas fires. Generally no price assumptions are given on here.

    Change water pump

Good luck with the gate valves! I'd put money on at least one of them letting by, the top one more so. Space is tight, as 45ygm says spray up with WD, tap with hammer etc. I don't know how much space you have to the right of the picture. A 52mm pump nut spanner from Screwfix would more...

Has anyone got a top tip

Got a set of jaw-droppers, they have been pretty handy. OP have you tried using a penetrating spray (rocol) or crack-it release spray on the backnuts? Maybe worth a try.

Are there any decent freestanding baths?

 Not fitted any of their stuff tbh so can't really comment. I had a quick look on their website though and their price range isn't that far off Duravit's!

Are there any decent freestanding baths?

http://www.bathempire.com/modern-freestanding-baths_c65243_270102.htm Those lot have a sale on apparently. Been a long while since I did a free stander, last one was in a very plush house in Highgate. Might have been a Duravit, it was top quality though.

    Unaccessible isolation valves (under floor)

I'd leave them be. Why fix something that isn't broke? Are the valves leaking or something? :?

Plastic fittings & pipe - where to buy?

I like to use PolyPlumb or Hep push-fit stuff. I detest Speedfit!

    Which Pipe Lagging?

I used Insultube lagging last winter, bought from my local BSS and it was cheaper than Armaflex. Quality appears to be as good.

Warmfront help: how to refuse the Ideal logic boiler??

I'd rather have a Logic over a Junior as well. Not a massive fan of either manufacturer tbh.

Toilet won't flush properly, is this the cause...?

Have you checked the water level in your cistern?

    Tap tails

Those E-Bay tails look like M8 x 1/2" so if you wanted to connect direct to 15mm pipe you would need a 15mm x 1/2" male copper/iron. Or if you have 15mm isolation valve's, then you could just connect on those with the female 1/2" part of the E-Bay flexi.

    Tap tails

http://www.bristan.com/epages/Bristan.sf/AU_en/?ObjectPath=/Shops/Bristan/Products/00622459 A quick Google found those, the price is a bit extortionate though!

    Immersion Heater query!!

PTFE on the thread  Have you fitted this immersion without the fibre washer? You need to fit a washer as this is what makes the fitting watertight.
