    tightness testing

    1 minute at 10mbar to test if the ECV (emergency control valve) is letting by. 1 minute at 20mbar temp stabilization. 2 minute at 20mbar tightness test of the gas installation. Out of interest lion08 which college will you be going too?

    New Bahco spanners are pony now imo. Just got a 8" wide jaw Irega and its a much better adjustable than a new Bahco I got a little while ago. Old Bahco's still good though.

    That case you have a 22mm x 3/4 copper to iron. You'll need a 15mm x 1/2 bent male copper to iron. Little difficult to tell what size fitting you had by the photo mate.

    Are you saying that you haven't got enough pipe coming through the wall? Or that the pipe is too small for the fitting?

    Its a bent male copper/iron You need to insert a 15mm pipe with a nut and olive on and insert into the fitting. The nut will then tighten onto the thread with the ptfe on and compress the olive and form a seal. Hope this helps.

    Sounds like you have a 3/4 or 22mm valve. Have you tried a 22mm nut?
