    Leaky Danfoss lockshield valves

Would this be suitable? I’ve used similar for temporary blanking off some isolation valves when doing other DIY work. They have a rubber disc in the central recess that provides the water seal. Get them from Screwfix or Toolstation for example.

Is this flush valve the type that unscrews?

Thanks DAZB, it doesn’t seem to want to unscrew and I don’t want to break it in situ. I think I’ll ask a plumber to change the whole unit and I’m sure it’ll be one that unscrews for future access. Mutley56

Is this flush valve the type that unscrews?

Hi all, Toilet valve keeps letting water into pan. I want to check the washer at the bottom of the valve. Does it look like the valve is the type that unscrews to remove it or is it one that requires the cistern be taken off the pan? Thanks in advance for your advice. Mutley56
