Almost certain to be a bad earth contact.Look for where the rear lamp wiring goes to ground,and remove/clean the eyelet.You can probe about with a test lamp or just a length of wire "improving the earth" to diagnose it,but as so many lamps are involved,it is probably a common connector.

Hi Craig, I removed the aerial from the roof and then sat it back down in silicone. Managed to unbolt it by removing the interior lamp assembly for access.This worked ok on a ZX Citroen and a pug 306.Hopefully you will be able to do the same.Geoff
