    Does anyone know where I can get cheap decking boards? I've just been watching city gardener and he quotes £5 for a 3.6m length, which suits me fine, but i cant find them at that price!!

    Radiator needs bleeding but theres no tap !!!

    I have 2 radiators upstairs that are hot at the bottom and cold at the top. air is the probable cause, but the radiators dont have bleeding taps on them as far as i can see. They are both singles. How do I bleed them?

    Did it used to have a cellar?

    I've recently moved into a 1890's end terrace. Several of the houses on parallel and adjecent roads have cellars, but on pulling up a few floor boards mine appears to be full of loose rubble. Where can I find out if there used to be a cellar, and if it is safe to remove the rubble? I dont think...

    gas hobs, one has stopped working

    Basically my problem is as above. could something have got into the gas pipe and blocked it? all the other jets work fine, but the largest one doesnt even produce gas when switched on. could something boiling over have got into the pipe perhaps? Its an electrolux steel gas hob, any suggestions...

    Loft conversion, a few questions...

    Are they expensive? I have a friend who converted his loft (with the assistance of his father - a builder) for 3k, thats was for materials and getting building control to sign it off.

    Just re-read that, to clarify one point, the 14ft dimension of the room has 2 solid brick walls, its the direction that has one solid and one studded wall.

    Hi, After my old oven blew up, I have ordered and just recieved a new oven (exactly the same model). The old oven had a lead coming out of the back with a plug on the end, with a plug socket on the wall behind it for connection. The new oven I have recieved doesn't appear to even have a lead...
