    Asphalt is one of the easier product to overlay with the correct preparation. Decothane as suggested is good, but the proper installation of it should be 2 coats with a fleece, not easy to get right. GRP is for boats.:D EPDM will do for diy, but again, needs care taking, and preferably an OSB...

    Experience tells me that they are not, the asbestos content ones go chalky on the top with age. Now i am looking at a better picture, they look like the NT ones. However, its impossible to be sure. Bit of a boring read, but may assist. http://www.asbestosfocus.co.uk/eternitahistory.htm

    If they have NT stamped on them, they are resin Eternits. If not, they have Chrysotile content.
