    Thank you, I asked at the plumbers merchants I use this morning but they don't sell them. Does filing down the iso valve not give it a flat enough surface?

    Just means an extra fitting after the iso valve.

    Isit ok to screw the female end o a flexi on to an iso valve. Or is a 1/2 male to 15mm compression needed? I could file the end of the iso valve to give it a flatter surface?

    When running waste pipes behind kitchen units and exiting through the wall is it ok if the elbow is tight to the wall so one side of the elbow is sat in the hole. My concern is if it starts leaking you would never no. It would just go in the cavity.

    Thanks think it happen as had the heat on too long the solder looks to have run perfectly after I painted the fitting with flux and re-applied solder

    If soldering an end feed tee and by the time you get to the last leg of the tee the fitting is slightly over heating is it ok to paint the leg of the tee in flux so solder will run again?

    So cold water flow in to a the centre branch of a tee is ok? I have seen it a few times under the kitchen sink were the incoming cold mains tees in to the house cold supply and kitchen sink tap feed.

    Yes its in the same on suite so shouldn't be an effect. I wondered if the tee would give a huge frictional resistance?
