    Boiler extraction ducting

No. It`s a job for a corgi engineer i`m afraid. Flue siting regs, and most importantly it`s a flue, you shouldn`t be touching them!

    Any paperwork for condensing boiler?

it`s called a benchmark. Most manufacturers print it in the manual that comes with the boiler, and should be left with you after installation. make sure you have it, it`s also required as validation of your guarantee. Later in the post you should recieve a certificate of building regulations...

    Carbon Monoxide

I`ll add them to my list of no can dos. Along with microbore, biasis and women. It`ll make rgi`s more prone not to answer the callout if it`s a bfb. Who needs all that?

    external gas pipes

I had this with a customer, 12ft of external gas pipe to feed his new boiler. He made me box it in, and stain it! Looked horrendous but he loved it.

New combi but shower not hot!

I had one of these on an installation, had to put pressure reducers on both hot and cold feed pipes to it. Bit of fiddling about but it got there in the end. I don`t think they cope well with higher pressures from the combi and mains cold feeds.

    Carbon Monoxide

I agree totally that these machines are potential life savers. But i also agree that if serviced correctly, and you are confident in your own ability, that they are a back up. If the government was so bothered about it they should give them out free as they do smoke alarms. By the way i`ve got...

    Corgi registration

Registration is a flat fee, wether for 12 months or 2. My registration was "held up due to backlog" so had to wait until the end of may for my new card, which didn`t even have my energy efficiency badge on the front when it arrived! Apparantly they`ll send me yet another one in april with it on...

    biasi 24s

If it`s clicking the microswith you more than likely have a supply problem to the fan. Is there voltage to it? A multi-meter is the correct way of determing this. A neon will not suffice. If there`s voltage, check back at the right hand p.c.b where the fan is connected, and work back to the jump...

    boiler Advice

You get what you pay for in a boiler. Absolutely false economy putting a cheap boiler on the wall, you`ll be replacing it within 5 to 7 years, especially the biasi! They`re a nightmare, 2 pcb`s, all the spares cost a fortune too. Maybe only £400, but a pump for one of these is £100 plus v.a.t.
