    its not a case of lazy fitters :lol: its a case fitting them with in building regs rather than chopping 3/4 of a joist out :shock: 3" is hardly an accessible problem now is it ? i mean if you cant step up 3" how do get up the stairs to a bathroom :roll:

    dont cut that much out mate i wont go deeper than 25mm, id use a foot pack on the shower tray and rn the waste on the skirting board then to you stack with a strap on boss

    well am happy with that out come it wont fall off :D the board finnish was a pain but got there with it ... used a sponge to get it ruffley right then worked it with the float an guess what .. it looks like plaster :lol: ive impressed myself 1st time ive plasterd id make a grate plasterer...

    am on to the final coat of plaster ive put 2 bonding coats over the plaster board and have board finnish to go on to it this is my first time at plastering so dont laff lol so the question is how the f.....k do you get a finnish with out the float marks in it ?ive tryed being light...

    chances are its dead and they left it in because it wont fit tho the loft hatch, or its feeding the bath/shower/toilet. easyest way to see what the tank feeds is to turn the mains off coming in to the house and run the taps flush the bog and see what runs if the tank is feeding anythink then...

    best bet is to strip the tap down and take it to your local plumbers yard and see if they can match it up

    hi all ive built a stud wall and plaster boared it taped the laps up. its now ready for some plaster there is some gap between the boards up to 8mm in patrs, i think this is due to the stud work being warped or something (yeah i do plumbing). the board is up to wood work sort of set back into it...
